Notify Me When a Specific Person Tweets: How to Set It Up
February 3, 2026 · TweetNotifier Team
To get notified when a specific person tweets, use the bell icon on their profile for one account, or an alert tool to track multiple accounts at once.
Notify Me When One Person Tweets
On Twitter: open their profile, tap the bell, and select “All Tweets.” You’ll receive push notifications whenever they post. That’s the simplest way to follow a single account closely.
Notify Me When Several People Tweet
Twitter doesn’t let you get push alerts for a custom list of 10 or 20 accounts. For that, use a monitoring tool. Add each @username; whenever any of them tweet, you get an alert (email, in-app, or webhook).
Single account vs multiple accounts
| Scenario | Best solution |
|---|---|
| One specific person | Twitter bell on their profile |
| Several people (e.g. clients, influencers) | Alert tool like TweetNotifier |
| Person + keyword (e.g. when they mention “launch”) | Alert tool with account + keyword rules |
Will they know I get notified when they tweet?
No. Turning on notifications or using an alert tool does not notify the other user.
